Targeted search engine traffic converts better than Social Media and can really boost your bottom line when done properly.

The 3 tips below will get you on your way to optimizing your blog in order to bring in search engine traffic that is willing to click on your ads. This will take very little time but pay you back with huge dividends.

To start with, you should make absolutely sure that your blog post addresses are search engine compatible. With many free blog services like Blogger, this is automatically done for you. If you use WordPress, then you'll need to set your permalinks so that WordPress will produce optimized url's when you write a post.

Blogger dot com is set to show your post keywords in the url's. In WordPress you'll need to change the Permalink structure. You'll do this under the Permalinks tab in your WordPress dashboard. Simply set the Custom field to percent sign - postname - percent sign. (without the dashes)

The most important tip on SEO optimizing your blog is to put the keyword in the Title of your blog. For example, if you're blogging about how to make fast money, then use these keywords in the Title of your blog and your blog post. What you don't want to do is put unrelated keywords in your Title. By using the keywords in the Title, then you'll rank higher than if you name it Johns Blog.

Now you need to ensure that when you write a post, that you use the keywords you're trying to target in the post title. This will also show up in your URL. This helps the search engine bots figure out what your post are about. Don't confuse them by having a rambling post about nothing. If you're writing about making money online, then make sure your post has those keywords in it.

And that's all there is too it. It's not hard and these tips take little time but will provide huge returns if you're patient and build links to each of your pages. You'll also rank much higher than your competitors who do not do this.

Now if you really want to make money online with Affiliate Marketing or Adsense, you'll need to point some links at these pages. Make certain you use your keywords in your Anchor Text and try and make sure the links you do get are from relevant pages on the Internet. This is just about the best scenario you can wish for if you're trying to earn extra money on the Internet.
