Harv Eker has been paid a lot of attention recently, and you might be wondering where he came from and who he is. When I first encountered all the fuss, I certainly wasn't sure who he was or why people though he was so important.

Eker is actually the perfect example of the American Dream. He spent his younger years in Canada, the child of European immigrants, then moved to the U.S. He worked a lot of odd jobs and struggled to make ends meet, just like most of us.

That struggle is what gave Eker the inspiration to start up as an entrepreneur. Unfortunately, he didn't succeed, and it took him a long time and many failed investments to figure out what he'd been doing wrong. He started thinking about how we react to money and how we treat it, and what that means in relation to our chances for success.

What he found out, to my surprise, is that our success comes from inside us, not outside. It's not luck - we all have financial blueprints that tell us what to do about money and whether or not to make good choices. These blueprints are developed from exposure to media, current events, family and friends.

Fortunately, no one has to deal with a bad financial blueprint for life if they're willing to make an effort to change it. It's true that it's not easy or pleasant to change all your attitudes about money. In fact, people who can give up their pride and go through the process won't like what Harv Eker has to say.

However, if you have the determination to go through the process of changing how you think and react to the world, success may be yours. Eker's findings are charted in his book Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, and in his programs to help people achieve their dreams. By reading his works or attending his enthusiastic workshops, you could change how you think, and set your internal barometer toward success!

There are a lot of things you can learn from what Harv Eker has to say. He'll tell you that we need to stop reacting from fear and envy, and start working from happiness, contentment, and the desire to seize the opportunities life offers us. Unless you believe in success, you'll never get there, and you'll keep letting things pass you by.

We can all learn a lot from Eker's book and training company, but I won't blame you if you need some convincing. I was skeptical, too. That's why you should learn everything you can about Harv Eker's programs and find out what he can really do to help you change your life.
