Harv Eker has been paid a lot of attention recently, and you might be wondering where he came from and who he is. When I first encountered all the fuss, I certainly wasn't sure who he was or why people though he was so important.

In fact, Eker's the perfect example of someone who succeeded in attaining the American Dream. He spent his childhood in Canada, the son of immigrants from Europe, and then moved to the United States. To make ends meet, he worked may odd jobs and struggled hard.

That struggle inspired Harv Eker to start up his own business. However, this business didn't make it off the ground! It took him a long time and a lot of failed investments to realize that he'd been treating money the wrong way - now he can teach us what he's learned.

What he found out, and what really surprised me is that our success is actually determined by internal factors, not luck or anything outside of us. We all have our own financial blueprints, developed by exposure to our friends and family, media messages and current events. Depending on what those blueprints say, we make good or bad choices about money and every other aspect of our lives.

Fortunately, no one has to deal with a bad financial blueprint for life if they're willing to make an effort to change it. It's true that it's not easy or pleasant to change all your attitudes about money. In fact, people who can give up their pride and go through the process won't like what Harv Eker has to say.

However, if you have the determination to go through the process of changing how you think and react to the world, success may be yours. Eker's findings are charted in his book Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, and in his programs to help people achieve their dreams. By reading his works or attending his enthusiastic workshops, you could change how you think, and set your internal barometer toward success!

There are a lot of things you can learn from what Harv Eker has to say. He'll tell you that we need to stop reacting from fear and envy, and start working from happiness, contentment, and the desire to seize the opportunities life offers us. Unless you believe in success, you'll never get there, and you'll keep letting things pass you by.

Harv Eker's training company and books can offer us a lot, but I'm not going to blame you if you're not sure. I'm hard to convince, too. That's why you need to look at at everything Eker has to say, and at what he can do for all of us, and make your own decision about where your life will go.
