Although, this is not the same as saying that making all of our citizens get health insurance is out of the question. It is quite the topic of conversation as to the future of our health system. Most can agree that reform is in order in regards to how health care is delivered and possible a look at universal coverage.
Essentially, we are thinking, not universal health care, but universal health insurance. It seems that the future is looking good on this option. The Democrats now have the majority in the White House and Congress, plus the insurance industry is in favor.
A Los Angeles Times article writes that there will, of course, e lots of debates over the universal health insurance law, but tough times are making it an opportune time to mandate coverage.
